Microsoft’s New Search Engine Bing.

If you haven’t experienced Microsoft’s new search engine Bing then go try it out at:  www.bing.com

It has a neat feature that I like. I tried it on one of my sites. Here is what I did if you want to try it.

Enter ‘Gourmet Chocolate Candy’ (with or without the quotes) and my site is the 3rd one down in the free listings, at the time of this writing.

http://www.countrycandydelights.com

Now move your mouse around between the listing description and the sponsored links on the right side of the screen. You will see a little orange dot with a line going from top to bottom come up. When you position your mouse over the orange dot a more detailed description will come up about the site. Pretty neat feature.

This will save the person searching a lot of time. More information is now available to see if you really want to visit that site or not.

However, if you are an internet marketer, then you might want to take more care in writing your opening paragraph, since that is where this detail is being picked up.  Go experiment with my site and you will see what I’m talking about.

You may want to go and re-work some of your opening paragraphs. I know that I’m going to re-visit all of mine.

To your success!
